The photovoltaic
The photovoltaic system
The potovoltaic panels (PV modules) are an interconnected assembly of silicon cells. The panels convert solar radiation into direct current electricity, even in cloudy weather. The direct current is then converted by an inverter to alternating current fitted with the public electricity grid.
The electric current thus generated may be sold to EDF on the public electricity grid (as it is recommended to optimize the installation profitability) or be used for your own consumption. The solar energy also helps reducing the CO2 emissions.
